Dos and Don’ts Before Laser Hair Removal
All our clients will receive a comprehensive consultation explaining your pre and after treatment care but have a look at this quick list of dos and don’ts before your laser hair removal treatment.
Dos Before Laser Hair Removal

Do use a sunscreen with minimum SPF 30 on the area of treatment at all times.

Do shave well for a successful and safe result. Shave the area 12-24 hours prior to your treatment.

Do tell your laser technician of any medication or health changes between visits.

Do avoid the sun 4-6 weeks before your treatment and completely throughout the course.

Do avoid waxing, threading, bleaching or epilating the hair 4 weeks prior to and for the duration of your laser course.
Donts Before Laser Hair Removal

Do not apply any active skin care (e.g. Retinol, AHAs, ingrown hair products) for at least 7 days before and after your treatment.

Do not use any body or facial scrubs for at least 7 days before and after your treatment.

Do not use any body or facial products that have shimmer or glitter particles in the e.g. bronzer, shimmer body lotion prior to your treatment.

Do not have false tan or natural tan on the area on the day of treatment or you will be declined treatment on the day if this is the case.

Do not use electric blankets/hot water bottles/seat warmers.

Do not use deodorant the morning of treatment if having underarms treated.
